This is a long post, because I want to impart a little bit about spiritual warfare and the adventures we have had. You may have attended a Transformation Syracuse gathering. At these corporate gatherings, because the Body of Christ comes together in unity, God commands the blessing (Psalm 133). In addition, as we corporately repent of those things that have defiled the land (2 Chrinicles 7:14), the enemy's grip is weakened. We always pray prior to these gatherings to ascertain what is on the Lord's heart and we cooperate with Him at these gatherings.

We have received comments from time to time that we are wasting our time That revival will never come to Syracuse unless souls are saved one at a time. This is just a reflection of a lack of understanding. We all want transformation and revival to come to the Greater Syracuse area, NY and our nation. But we have to understand how God does it and the importance of unity. As we continue to praise, worship and repent, we will reap a harvet of souls if we do not give up.

Corporate unity is one part of what we are doing, but behind the scenes, Transformation Syracuse is very busy visiting defilement sites and liberating the land from the grip of the enemy -- as we have been commanded to by the Scriptures.

This post will give you a glimpse of what we have been doing behind the scenes. Why? So you can begin to understand that God has so much more for you. Many of us are familiar with 2 Corithians 10:3-5: "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

However, do not overlook verse 6: "and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." Our obedience? You see, God expects us to be tearing down the enemy strongholds. So as you read what is written herein, may it move you to start to understand the calling each of us has on our lives.

On this day, we had a meeting with some powerful men of God to discuss, pray into, and seek revelation about a campaign to release the enemy's grip over certain structures in our region as well as through a large portion of New York State.

God spoke. Some of the words are not shown as it is wisdom to protect the campaign from enemy eyes. This is the Time

For this is the time of the convergence of My grace and My mercy
For I say to you the iniquity of the generations

I could not move until this time
as the level of intercession was insufficient

you are on the threshold of My Presence as a cleansing flood

For over the next 3 years

shall become a raging torrent
of righteousness as the vain and the profane are washed away

The mammon (love of)

the greed
the avarice

has held off My blessing
But you the key of authority

and release My blessings that
have been held up over all these years

God always wants to bless, but He cannot bless sin (whether it is in your life personally or in the land). Yes, land can be cursed for many reasons (such as the shedding of innocent blood) and that curse defiles the land and it affects the inhabitants living on that land.

We have been on many campaigns and have seen the power of God redeem the land and remove the spirit of infirmity from the land that was inflicting sickness and disease on the people.

Let me tell you about one campaign where people in one school were dying or contracting cancer or other dread diseases on a regular basis. The individual who asked us to bring in a team to pray at the school told us it seemed like there was a funeral or someone falling gravely ill every 3 months or so. What God did was incredible, but for some of you reading this story, it will appear to be in the "ripley's believe it or not" category. I certify to you, the events are exactly as I have written hear. But whether you believe or not, the results speak for themselves, all the deaths and disease stopped.

Think about 2 Chronicles 7:14. God tells us that if we will pray, repent and turn from their wicked ways, seek His face, then He will hear from heaven and heal our land. Heal our what? Our land.

Sin defiles the land and that defilement can adversely affect the inhabitants living on that land.

"For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you." (Lev 18:25-28)

"Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying: "Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds; to Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her customary impurity. Therefore I poured out My fury on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had defiled it. So I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the countries; I judged them according to their ways and their deeds." (Eze 36:16-19)

This particular school, as it tuned out, was adjacent to a Buddhist temple. And once a year the Buddhists would have an "Obon" ceremony where they would release "the spirits of the dead" - so they thought, but in reality, what they were releasing was a spirit of death and it was affecting the Christian school that was adjacent to their property.

How could that be you might ask? Think of it like putting a no trespassing sign on your property. Putting that sign up is a declaration of your rights as a property owner. However, from time to time, someone might very well dare to ignore your sign and squat on your land. When that happens, the sign declaring your rights, was not enough. You now have to exercise your right in a demonstration of authority to force the squatters off your land. This is how it is in the spiritual realm as well. Failure to engage the enemy is tacit approval for the enemy to move in, especially when there is sin involved or occultic power is at work that is not opposed.

Here's the adventure and what God did:

We ran a standard campaign where we sent a team to the school and maintained a base camp at the Healing Rooms with several intercessors that are seers and see into the spirit realm. At the property, we staked the four compass directions with stakes with scripture verses on them and used oil and the elements of communion as we wrestled the land back from enemy incursion.

Why do we stake the ground?

We are addressing the Four Directions - I Chron. 9:24: "The gatekeepers were assigned to the four directions: the east, west, north, and south"

First, We are staking the territory and redefining the legal boundaries of God's domain to the enemies. (Ps. 24:1: "The earth is the LORD's, and all its fullness")

Second, We are symbolically dedicating the ground to Jesus Christ, with the stakes as markers of His dominion and authority.

Third, We are symbolically closing the gates to the powers of darkness and cutting off their ability to freely enter into the geographical spheres now dedicated to Christ.

Last of all, we are officially taking the ground and dedicating it to the LORD.

Note: - We had permission of the Principal of the school to pray over the school land.

So we used the wooden stakes to prophetically dedicate land within the property boundaries to the LORD and to close the spiritual gates of the property (in the four directions - North, East, South, and West) to the powers of darkness and the enemies of God.

We then make declarations to all ungodly spiritual powers of the dedication and by the authority of Jesus Christ we evict them from the property.

We then sprinkled the Blood of Christ on the property as priests of the Most High God (Rev 1:6, 1 Peter 1:2). Did you know the enemy cannot penetrate the Blood of the Lamb of God -- Jesus Christ? (Remember the Destroyer in the Exodus story that ony afflicted the 1st born of the Egyptians, but bypassed every house with the Blood of the Lamb on the Door). Interesting, didn't Jesus say He was the Door? (John 10:7-9) Didn't John tell us He saw a door standing open in heaven and heard a loud voice of invitation saying "Come up here" (Rev 4:1). You see, we enter His gates with thanksgiving and His halls with praise, but we only enter the Holy of Holies with the blood of the Lamb. So fulfill your call as priests and sprinkle the Blood of the Lamb (which you do with your mouth as you make declaration). Sprinkle it every day on your self, on your loved ones, on your home.

Let's get back to the campaign.

At each direction the blood of Christ was symbolically poured out (sprinkled) for cleansing and redemption of the land. We applied anointing oil to the ground and dedicated the land and property to the Lord. After the final stake was driven in, the presence of the Lord was then invited into the land. We declared His LORDSHIP over the land and that His presence prevails within the legal boundaries of this property. Remember - "that at the name of Jesus Christ every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth." We also invited angelic hosts to be encamped around about this property to guard and keep it. We then errected in the spirit realm a wall of fire along the creek so the enemy could not penetrate.

At that point we felt, and some of us saw, what looked like a iridescent covering come down from heaven and blaketing the property. At the same time the intercessors at the Healing Rooms called on the cell phone and said they saw the same thing.

The Ripley's believe it or not part of the story occured when we staked the south compass direction. Just after we did this, a black car with dark windows came down the street and when it reached where the stake had been planted, the car screeched to a halt, like it had hit or stopped to avoid an invisible barrier. But that wasn't enough, the car backed up and had another go at it. It came roaring down the street a second time, hit (or avoided) the invisible barrier, ran into the curb, blew it's tire, and roared off in the opposite directions. We would have loved to see who was in the black car with the dark windows. There were other things that occured as the enemy lost it's grip on the property, but the point is that this particular piece of property was no longer groaning as it had been liberated from the bondage of corruption (Lev 18:25) into the glorious liberty of the sons of God (Romans 8:19-22). As a result, the people in the school were no longer afflicted by the constant barrage of sickness and disease brought by the enemy -- God had healed the land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
