We were in church Sunday. It only took a worship song or two from the worship team and the atmosphere shifted. You could feel the tangible presence of God. My wife was almost overcome with His Presence as both our hearts started burning (Luke 24:32) -- Jesus was in our midst in a real tangible way. It's hard to explain. We know that Jesus is always with us through the person of the Holy Spirit, but it it is different when He is enthroned on the praises of His people (Psa 22:3). At that point, God opened my eyes and I could see a river flowing across the front of the church. Perhaps it was the river of His Presence. It was about ankle deep. I heard God speak a word of invitation to come into the river. So we did. It was a literal time of refreshing. God also spoke, but I can't remember exactly what He said, but one of the worship people started praying from the platform and it was pretty much the same as I had heard. She prayed for a fresh encounter with God and a fresh anointing, and there it was flowing as a river across the front of the chirch.

God is so good!
