Are you ready for your own Adventures in God? What's holding you back? Do you want to do miracles? According to John 14:2 we should not only be doing the works of Jesus, but greater works. Do you know how Jesus did miracles? He did them through the Father who was within Him.

"Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves." (John 14:9-11)

How did Jesus do miracles? "The Father who dwells in Me does the works."

And where is the Father?

John 4:16-20: " And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever -- the (Holy) Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you." A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you."

He is also within you as is the entire Godhead.

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. " (Romans 8:11)

If Jesus did miracles by the Father who was within, so can we, because we truly have the power that raised Jesus from the dead within us.

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us." (2Co 4:6-7)

".... For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luk 17:21)

In us dwells the Godhead bodily -- Just like Jesus!

"For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power." (Col 2:9-10)

So what is stopping you from doing miracles?

There are lots of issues that each of us must work through to position ourselves for miracles. Perhaps you don't feel worthy enough or you are still struggling with sanctification or consecration and you know you fall short of the glory of God.

The Lord spoke the following word to me and I want to share it with you. Let it inspire and motivate you to step out in faith and to start to do what Jesus has called every blood-bought saint of God to do - the work of Jesus (John 14:12).

A Lot to Think About

If you wait for your flesh to be crucified in your own strength
You will be waiting a long time
Step through the cross into resurrection power

Your hands are not holy just because of your consecration
But your hands are clean because of My sacrifice
Therefore forsake what lies behind and
Press on toward the high calling

Do not wallow in the pit of self condemnation
For I have cleansed you from sin and its consequences
Come up higher and receive My Mind
For the weight of sin has been washed away
Do not neglect such a great salvation

My Glory is My Presence
And I live in you
I have restored your glory
And yet you continue to struggle
With sin consciousness

Repent when you fall short of the Glory entrusted to you
And do not let your sin to continue to exist in your human mind
Keep your hand on the plow
And do not look back at your sin that
Was judged at Calvary

Lot's wife looked back at what
in her eyes was counted as loss
and physically became a pillar of salt
frozen and unable to move

Rather walk in the miracles and wonders
I have reserved for you
Keep your eyes fixed on Me
And I will perfect your faith

I say to you, your life is hidden in Me
And all creation is groaning
Waiting for your revealing as true Sons of the Kingdom
Who have embraced the fullness of their salvation
And have tasted of the power of the ages to come

I say to you
Fullness is upon you
Let Me transform your mind so that
The eyes of your understanding
Will be open to the truth of My Word

Fulfill your destiny
